<p>Ekagrah Rohan Murty, the grandson of Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy, is four months old. He received 15 lakh shares, or 0.04% equity, in the IT giant, valued at about Rs 240 crore.</p>

<p>Regulating documents state that on March 15, Murthy donated these shares in an off-market deal. Murthy’s stake in Infosys dropped from 0.40% to 0.36% as a result. On the BSE, Infosys shares ended the day at Rs 1,602.30 a share on Monday.</p>
<p>The third grandchild of Sudha and Narayana Murthy is Ekagrah. The daughters of UK PM Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murty, Krishna and Anoushka, are their other two grandkids.</p>
<p>In November of last year, Rohan Murty and his spouse Aparna Krishnan made an announcement on the birth of their son.</p>
<p>Recently sworn in as a member of the Rajya Sabha, Sudha Murty has a 0.83% stake in Infosys, valued at over Rs 5,600 crore. As of December 31, 2023, she had around 3.45 crore shares.</p>
<p>In the IT firm, Rohan Murty owns 1.47% of the shares, while their daughter owns 0.94%. When Murthy launched the business in 1981, Sudha Murty handed her husband 10,000 rupees as starting money. It started with $250 and has now grown to be a $18.55 billion enterprise. There were 3,43,234 employees working for the corporation at the end of FY23.</p>
<p>According to Brand Finance, Infosys was named one of the top three IT services brands in the world in January and the brand with the fastest five-year growth. With its brand worth having more than quadrupled over the previous five years, Infosys is expected to be valued over $14 billion in 2024, placing it in the top 145 most valuable brands worldwide.</p>
